Applying the New Final and Proposed RMD regulations

The IRS recently released the final required minimum distribution (RMD) regulations, along with proposed regulations addressing the SECURE Act changes. The new regulations provide helpful clarifications on applying the RMD requirements, as well as guidance on the changes made by SECURE. Understanding how these rules affect RMD calculations is critical because the consequences of failure are potential plan disqualification and excise taxes. This webinar will provide administrators, consultants, benefits counsel, and plan sponsors the answers necessary to apply the changes to the RMD requirements.
