Presentation Description

Can your personality “type” impact your ethics? Can you overcome obstacles to make the right decision? In addition, we’re all likely subject to rules of conduct under Circular 230 or ASPPA or your own firm. We’ll use case studies to help make ethics fun!

Learning Objectives

  • Identify situations that can require decisions that might test your ethics.
  • Review the implications for not adhering to an ethical standard.
  • Reflect on how you would handle difficult ethical decisions.

Bill Presson

Bill joined Pinnacle Plan Design in May 2021. PPD needed a dinosaur with a couple different areas of expertise, and he’s lived long enough to acquire a few. He has extensive and versatile management experience with a professional history in trust services, business development, and retirement plan consulting. During his career, he has started and sold his own TPA practice, helped start and grow what became a national trust company, and led the TPA operations for two large firms. Bill and his wife, Terri, live in the Birmingham area and their two grown children (and a grandson) live close by.
