Elizabeth has over 15 years of experience working exclusively in the field of employee benefits.  Elizabeth began to specialize in employee benefits during the years she practiced in the IRS counsel’s office in San Francisco.  During her final years at the IRS, she had primary responsibility for providing legal advice to IRS field agents in the western region regarding employee benefits matters.  She also represented the IRS in the U.S. Tax Court in particular cases involving employee benefits tax issues.  Subsequently, she was of counsel with a San Francisco law firm that practiced exclusively in the area of employee benefits.  At that firm, she worked on employee benefits matters for a broad spectrum of clients – from sole proprietors to multinational business enterprises.
