Power Your Practice with Financial Wellness and Retirement Income Trends and Preferences

What will be discussed:

  • Emerging Trends and Evolving Beliefs,
  • Retirement income preferences and solutions,
  • What to consider when choosing a retirement income solution

       I. There’s a lot of talk about financial wellness, and the truth is that it can mean different things to different people.  Regardless, financial wellness programs are an increasingly important part of benefits packages.  There are advantages to both employees and a company’s bottom line.  Research has shown that financially fit employees are less stressed, more engaged, better able to save for retirement, and even physically healthier.  Providing employees with tools and techniques for managing financial stress can translate to a more productive workforce.  And that’s good for everybody.

II. Through T. Rowe Price’s record-keeping research, the corporate retirement plan is increasingly becoming the destination for investors after they retire. This contrasts with the conventional view of DC plans as strictly accumulation vehicles, and discusses decumulation challenges and possible solutions. This material provides a framework for advisors to engage around the challenges in store as they transition from asset accumulation to retirement income.
