RECORDED WEBINAR:

ERISA Goes to the Supreme Court—An Analysis of Recent Supreme Court Decisions and Pending Cases

Presentation:

This Webinar will discuss the four U.S. Supreme Court decisions involving ERISA from the 2019-20 term.  Scott will describe the history, issue and decision of the case in his signature “punny” manner.  He will also discuss its overall significance and meaning to employee benefits practice.  Finally, he will preview cases held over to the next term that begins October 2020, including one deciding the fate of the Affordable Care Act.

  • Will High Court Ever Clarify Its 2014 Dudenhoffer decision?
  • Will ERISA’s 3-year Statute of Limitations Ever Apply After Intel?
  • Does Thole Encourage Bad Behavior By DB Plan Sponsors?
  • Will Little Sisters Wind Up Back at High Court. . . Yet Again?
