  Our Presentation:

Like a bad moon, it comes around every 6 years.  Now, just in time for Halloween, let Western Pension help you pass safely through the defined contribution restatement process that opened on June 30, 2020 and ends on July 31, 2022.  We will cover the following (and do some fun “trick or treating” along the way):

  • 1.     Overview of the DC plan restatement process/ what’s different this time around;
  • 2.     Which required amendments are not covered by this process;
  • 3.     Tips for working with service providers and document vendors;
  • 4.     Interplay with the IRS individual determination letter process; and a few
  • 5.     Plan Restatement “Horror Stories” and how to avoid being the next victim.
