Trends, Challenges and Opportunities
Wednesday, November 14, 2018 10:00 am - 11:00 am PST
Whether you are managing the cost of group health benefits, encouraging participants to invest HSA assets or including financial planning as a component of a wellness plan, money and health are related. And while employee benefits insiders (and Congress!) recognize that health and wealth have converged, it is not always easy to find integrated solutions. In this session, Shelby George, ERISA attorney and consultant, will provide an overview of the trends in Washington DC, innovations by financial service firms and reactions by employers. But just as important, she will give attendees an independent and practical assessment of the resulting challenges and opportunities, and leave you with 3 actionable take-aways.
Key Take Aways:
1. Use the “Bucket” approach to communicating benefits
2. Think about health care spenders differently
3. Ask providers and partners the tough questions
