Sherrie Boutwell has focused for over thirty years in the areas of employee benefits law and ERISA, with extensive advice regarding benefits in M&A transactions.  She also has experience representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service, the United States Department of Labor and the Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation and is a highly sought-after speaker/writer on employee benefits topics.  Sherrie takes pride in bringing a practical and down to earth approach to resolving complex benefits issues.  Sherrie is a Fellow in the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel, is “av” rated by Martindale-Hubble and is an ongoing contributing author for a chapter in the treatise: Employee Benefits in Mergers & Acquisitions, (Ferenczy) Wolters Kluwer, 2014 - 2018.
