Save More Tomorrow: Plan Success Goals 
“Save More Tomorrow” is based on the book with the same name and written by UCLA professor Shlomo Benartzi. Attendees will learn best practices including:
  • How behavioral finance concepts-including inertia and present bias-influence plan behavior and affect outcomes
  • How to use behavioral insights to improve retirement plan design
  • How to use new tools and solutions to help you build more reliable retirement outcomes
Plan Success goals of 90-10-90: 90% participation rate, individual savings rate of 10% and 90% of participants invested into a target date fund or similar.

About Our Presenter

Michael Deferro, C(k)P

Director, Retirement External Investment Consultant

Mr. Deferro is a retirement external investment consultant and a director with Allianz Global Investors, which he joined in 2015. He is a member of the Retirement team, representing the firm’s advisor-sold defined contribution efforts across an 11-state territory. Mr. Deferro has 18 years of investment-industry experience.

He was previously a director of defined contribution investments at Hartford Funds. Before that, Mr. Deferro had similar roles at Lord Abbett, Ivy Funds and Bank of the West.

He has a B.S. in business management & marketing from Franklin University. Mr. Deferro is a C(k)P charterholder, and holds the FINRA series 7, 24, 63 and 65 licenses.
 
The webinar will provide one continuing education credit for  for ASPPA, NIPA, JBEA, ERPA, MCLE CA, CPA CE for CA and OR.

Members are $35, Nonmembers are $50.
